Leadership is all about service. With Jesus as our example, we are honoured and privileged to lead, guide, and sacrifice for the St. Paul’s community.
Grant joined the ministry team as our Lead Pastor in September 2014. Grant and his wife Grace came to St. Paul’s from Vancouver where their adult children continue to live. Grant loves music, is passionate about social justice and committed to the preaching of God’s Word.
Jeremy Sauvé, together with his wife, Amanda, first joined the St. Paul’s team in August 2006. For 10 years they faithfully ministered to the youth of our congregation. Recently Jeremy accepted the position of Discipleship Pastor and transition to this new role September 2016. Both Jeremy and his wife desire the church, motivated by God’s extravagant love, become true followers of Christ characterized by their love for each other, their community and their world.
Judy joined St Paul’s Ministry Team in April of 2013. She and husband Lloyd share four children and ten grandchildren. Teaching children about the love of Jesus, sharing life with the church families and meeting new families in the church neighborhood is Judy’s passion.
Tabea joined the staff at St. Paul's in November 2016 and manages the church office. Previously, she has been a home-maker and working part-time for various non-profit organizations. Tabea is married to Rev. Stephen Silverthorne, they have four children and live in the Barrhaven area. Tabea will continue to be a part of her home church in Ottawa where she leads worship and supports her husband in his ministry.
Tyler has recently joined the ministry at St. Paul’s. He is a recent graduate from Redeemer University, graduating with a degree in Religion and Theology and has had a myriad of experiences in the field of youth ministry in both urban and rural contexts. He is very excited to be at St.Paul’s working with all of the leaders in tithe ministry at St. Paul’s. He is an adamant follower of Jesus Christ, who believes that God has equipped him for youth ministry. He has a deep passion for music and loves to play drums whenever he gets the chance.
Board of Elders
The church’s governing board is comprised of 18 men and women (who we call elders) who are elected by the congregation to provide spiritual and operational oversight of all our ministries and mission. The Session’s key responsibilities are to provide leadership, governance and guidance by:
1. Providing spiritual oversight
2. Shepherding the Flock
3. Discerning, planning and strategizing
4. Overseeing church management
